Yes Skating fans you read it right! After 16 years the owners of Coachlite in Roselle, Illinois have said that this year of 2000 will be the last Competition. I'm sure I speak for many other people in saying that the four day Invitational Event will be missed. It is for this reason that I am so glad Joanne and I went to the Competition this year and that I took lots of pictures. The Blues Sisters and Goldilocks and her Friends were some of the many inventive acts I was privelege to see at the Coachlite Competition. You Skaters out there who have never seen an Artistic Roller Skating Competition you are really missing something special. You have no idea how inventive and talented these skaters are. I was standing next to the judges panel and they really thought Goldilocks was the cutest.
